Summer is in full swing

Summer is in full swing. At Yateley Papers HQ though the talk has been mostly about Christmas as we worked hard to produce our NEW Handmade Christmas Crackers ready to introduce to buyers at PULSE London show in May. Not only a beautiful set of six crackers with a generous oversized barrel and glamorous tied ribbons but they are also presented in a beautiful box that doubles up asa pair of sizeable tray's (complete with laminated base mat should it be used to serve drinks) or a great box to keep special treasures in.  Our crackers are filled with handmade chocolate we have carefully selected made by two artisan chocolatiers: Patisserie

Lingaud and Kokoh - providing a gourmet feast of six different flavours - perfect for sharing around the table. You can imagine how hard it was choosing and trying all that chocolate. Naturally there is also a fortune fish, party hat and joke included. If you want to get your hands on a set be sure to place your order early in order to ensure delivery for Christmas, get organised as we are confident that they will fly out the doors of Yateley HQ.  Or if you have a special celebration coming up we can customise our crackers to suit a special birthday or wedding. This week we were up late into the night finishing a bespoke cracker order for a special birthday celebration  in a circus tent so we designed them to suit the occasion carefully choosing ribbon, colourways and fillings to complement the event.

Alongside the crackers we also introduced our collection of useful sized pots and trays that are perfect for pens and note cards, magazines and papers. All of these can sit inside our large tray togetherto create our  Bento set.

We created our new design 'Kite' and decided to make it available in four colourwaysas we loved it so much - it comes in Red, Teal, Mustard or Chocolate. We launched our Kite pattern at PULSE and it was really well received.

Early June saw us at the Country Homes and Interiors Show - filled with interesting stallholders and the lovely team from the magazine who are always so supportive and enthusiastic.  It was their first show in London during a very hot half term. Our stand was filled withsummer bunting- zig zag, concertina'd chains and paper bows made with our Skinny Paper Chains.  They really make a fabulous alternative to regular bunting and visitors were inspired to make their own so many a pack was sold!  Trudi gave block printing demonstrations too which drew lots of interest. Our workshops continue to be popular at the Old Rectory in Bletchingley - if you'd like to try your hand at printing please see the workshop section of the website for dates. We are also offering dates in September in Barnes in partnership with Barnes Class.

Last week we are headed to the Wealdon Times Fair in Kent, which was another successful trip and saw our new kite products flying high.

On July 8th we will return to Barnes Fair at Barnes Pond. Come and see us!
