Create your own set of linen napkins in a workshop led by printing specialist,
Trudi Savin of Yateley Papers.
Learn the traditional art of hand-block printing and create a set of printed linen napkins during an intimate workshop in Richmond. Led by the founder of Yateley Papers Trudi Savin.
Yateley Papers was born out of a shared passion for both traditional block-printing techniques and a love of utterly gorgeous home and desk accessories. They have supplied Petersham Nurseries with hand-block printed notecards and envelopes, notebooks and t-towels. Their collections are made using a careful balance of traditional techniques and modern technologies, creating designs that are timeless and classic, celebrating the union of colour and pattern.
Under their expert tutelage, you will be guided through the fascinating process of hand-block printing. The class will start with an informal introduction, quick demonstration and Q&A session with tea & coffee. Choose from an extensive collection of authentic wooden blocks, pick your colours and spend the morning planning your design and perfecting your technique.
Enjoy a delicious lunch from the Teahouse with new found friends before printing your masterpiece in the afternoon.
Set within a private glasshouse, this workshop includes sandwiches from the Teahouse and a set of beautiful linen napkins of your creation to take home.
